Room Bookings

Clarington Public Library provides meeting room space for civic, educational, and cultural activities. Meeting rooms are available at the Bowmanville, Courtice, and Newcastle Branches.

Individuals wishing to book a room for a meeting must complete the application form below and be a Library member in good standing. Presently, the Library is waiving fees for those interested in using our rooms.
 

Meeting Rooms: Bowmanville, Courtice, and Newcastle Branches

  • Bowmanville Branch, Mezzanine Room
    163 Church St.
    Capacity of 30 people
    Includes chairs, tables, and wall-mounted screen
     
  • Courtice Branch, The Great Room
    2950 Courtice Rd.
    Capacity of 30 people
    Includes chairs, tables, projector, and wall-mounted screen
     
  • Newcastle Branch, George and Kathleen Vice Community Room
    150 King Ave. E.
    Capacity of 40 people
    Includes chairs, tables, projector, and wall-mounted screen
     

Availability

Due to the Outreach Community Hub, Room Bookings may not be available during the following times:

  • Bowmanville Branch: Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Courtice Branch: first Wednesday of every month, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Newcastle Branch: first Monday of every month, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Orono Branch: first Friday of every month, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Meeting rooms are available at the Bowmanville, Courtice, and Newcastle Branches only. Videoconferencing services are available at all four branches.
Bookings may only be made two months in advance of today's date, and must be made 48 hours in advance. Bookings must be finished 30 minutes before the branch closes. Hours of availability may be found on the Hours & Locations page. Please note room availability due to the Outreach Community Hub, as noted above.
