Get a sneak peek of what the redesigned Clarington Public Library, Bowmanville Branch may look like! Shoalts & Zaback Architects Ltd. (SZA) have created a video walkthrough of the proposed Bowmanville Redesign Project using the preliminary design. The final design will be adjusted based on further consultation and funding availability.
The Project was launched in September 2018 with a series of public consultations including an online survey and design charrette meetings to identify the building’s needs and shortcomings. A draft plan was created with input from community stakeholders, including members of the public, Library Board and staff, and Clarington’s Accessibility Committee.
If you have additional feedback on the design, please contact Sarah Vaisler, Deputy Director, at svaisler@clarington-library.on.ca, or 905-623-7322 x2705.

The project to redesign and refresh the Bowmanville Branch has begun! We want to create a more flexible space that better serves the needs of our community and members.
Public input will be an integral part of the design process. Members of the public, staff, Board members, Municipal Council, community organizations, and other stakeholders will have multiple opportunities to provide their suggestions and feedback.
A public brainstorming session is being held at the Bowmanville Branch on Tuesday, September 25, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Bring your ideas and suggestions for the layout, areas, and services YOU want to see in your redesigned branch!
An online survey about the project is also available.
