[Ages 4 to 9]

Bowmanville Branch, Mezzanine Room
Thursday, November 30th
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Hélène Boudreau is an award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction for children and young adults with a focus on humour! Her picture book, "I Dare You Not to Yawn," is a 2013 Parents’ Choice Award winner and a Forest of Reading Blue Spruce Honour title.

Hélène Boudreau grew up on an island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean but now writes from her land-locked home in Ontario, Canada. She has never time-travelled or saved an endangered bird, nor has she ever spotted a mermaid in the wild, but she believes mermaids are just as plausible as sea horses, flying fish, or electric eels.
