Baby on Board

[Ages 12 months and under]

Bowmanville Branch, Children’s Area
Tuesdays, January 9 to March 20
10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Drop in; no registration required.
No charge.

The babies are waiting to be bounced, tickled, and read to. Learn how the sound of your voice, the rhythm of a song, holding a book and babbling all get your baby ready to read.

Talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing are the key skills and fun ways to help your child get ready to read! Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to read once they begin school, and helps foster a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Space is limited on a first come, first served basis.
Notes: No program will be held on Monday, February 19th due to Family Day. Be sure to drop in to Winter WonderLearn at the Courtice Branch! Please see page 2 for more information.
During March 12th to 16th, attend our March Break programs instead! Please see page 8 for the full March Break calendar.
