Tumblebooks Authentication

Tumblebooks logo.Library Card Authentication Now Required

Clarington Public Library has been delighted to provide the online resource, Tumblebooks to our community and schools. Currently no authentication is required to use this service. Due to a contract change with this vendor, Tumblebooks now requires users to authenticate access with use of a Clarington Public Library card. Shortly, a Library card will be required to access Tumblebooks.

Library Card Registration

To minimize interruptions accessing Tumblebooks, we wish to assist with Library card registration. Access the Library Card Registration Form here, then submit it in person, via mail, or via email. Library cards will then be mailed out to registrants.

  1. In person: drop by any of the Library's four branches in Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle or Orono with your completed form, or fill it out on site.

  2. Mail: complete your form and mail it to:
         Clarington Public Library
         Attn: Sarah Vaisler
         163 Church Street
         Bowmanville, ON L1C 1T7

  3. Email: complete and email your form to: socialmedia@clarington-library.on.ca

"Get Carded"

For schools interested in participating in a “Get Carded” campaign for teachers and students, the Library would be happy to arrange a special visit to discuss Library online and in-house services and facilitate registration.

I'm a teacher at Cité Jeunesse in Trenton. Are we allowed to have a card as well?
