This course teaches you the fundamental skills needed to start your own babysitting service. The course is facilitated by Red Cross certified instructors from React Right Safety Services.Topics include how to give appropriate care to infants, toddlers and schoolaged children, dealing with basic First Aid emergencies, recognizing potential hazards, expectations of a babysitter, safely finding customers, and rural babysitting. Bring a teddy bear to practice on!

Presented in partnership with the Durham Folklore Storytellers we welcome you to World Storytelling day, where people from all around world will simultaneously tell and listen to stories. Join us on the first annual global celebration of storytelling, where the world will forge links between storytellers far and wide. We will celebrate with folklore and storytelling in a fantastic display by the Durham Folklore Storytellers.
