Tuesdays, February 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th,
1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Simple activities like talking, singing, reading, writing and playing will prepare brain connections
that will make learning to read easier. In this 4-week session, discover ways to learn about
literacy using these natural activities through hands-on ideas and activities.
Set up and use a freee web-based email account. Please note: registration begins on, Thursday December 1, 2011. Registration can be in-person or by telephone (905-623-733 extension 2712/2713) at any of the Clarington Public libraries and is based on a first-come basis.
Calling all knitters who want to improve their skills or budding crafters who want to start!
Learn how to knit or discover a stitching hint or two. Enjoy beginner to intermediate knitting lessons and stitch with a group of supportive peers.
Please bring your current project or ball of dish cloth yarn (2 oz. cotton) and 5 mm needles to the first session.
Caregivers and support staff for people with disabilities are admitted free of charge.
